XCFC-What made you start doing MMA?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-I guess from watching UFC alot. I figured with my wrestling background I would be able to do pretty good inside the cage.

XCFC-How long have you been training?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-I started training in July of 07 so it's been about a year and a half.

XCFC-How many hours a week do you train?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-When I'm getting ready for a fight I'll be in the gym as much as possible. If I had to put a number on it my guess would be 15 to 30 hours a week. That depends on my schedule at work and what my days off fall on.

XCFC-Who do you train with?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-I only have 2 training partners. Brian Lucas and Mike Hart. I also go to Glendale on some of my days off and train at a gym called the LAB.

XCFC-Whats your current record?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-Right now its 4-1

XCFC-When was your last fight?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-September 20th

XCFC-What was the outcome?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-I won by tko due to strikes

XCFC-What would you do different in the fight?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-I tried to hard to submit with a rear naked choke that my forearms started getting weak. I would have gone for something else or set it up a lil better.

XCFC-Would you do a rematch?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-No. I don't want to fight the same guy twice.

XCFC-When is your next fight?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-I was takin the Mayhem fight off. It got cancelled but i plan on being on the next card.

XCFC-What are your goals as a fighter?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-My goals are to train hard in the gym so I can succeed in the cage.

XCFC-Any plans to turn pro?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-Maybe one day. No rush tho.

XCFC-Who was your toughest opponent?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-I would have to say Gilbert Contreras.

XCFC-If you could have a match with anyone who would it be?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-Chase Beebe

XCFC-Why?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-Not sure. The first fight I watched of Beebe I wanted to fight him. Maybe If I go pro one day I will have that chance.

XCFC-Do you have sponsors?

JUSTIN BERRYHIILL-No

XCFC-Do you have a favorite fighter?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-Urijah Faber

XCFC-Whats your opinion of the XCFC?

JUSTIN BERRYHILL-I love it. This is where I got my fighter career started. I have nothing but respect for XCFC and everyone involved. It's growing and becoming very popular locally and out of state. I hope it just keeps getting bigger.

XCFC-Where do you see yourself in five years from now?

It's too far away to tell.
